Fonepay, Nepal’s largest interoperable payment network, has launched its first virtual credit card.

Developed in collaboration with Compass Plus Technologies, this new service provides a digital credit solution tailored for Nepal’s financial institutions.

The virtual credit card is available through mobile banking apps of partnering institution. It is also accepted at over 1.5 million merchants.

It operates under Fonepay’s mobile payment scheme, with local banks already using the service and another expected to join soon.
