Nemetschek partners with ITE, SP on AI training in Singapore
Nemetschek APAC, the Singapore unit of Germany-based construction software company Nemetschek Group, signed memorandums of understanding with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) on September 2 to add AI and digital delivery training to the built environment sector ahead of Singapore’s planned CORENET X requirement for all new building projects from October 1, 2026.
The five-year ITE agreement covers all three ITE colleges and includes curriculum enhancements, access to selected software, digital technologies, and learning resources, as well as possible digital labs, demonstration spaces, and technology showcases.
SP’s three-year deal, effective September 1, covers pre-employment and continuing education tracks, student internships, lecturer industry attachments, and co-organized events.
Training will focus on AI-assisted regulatory compliance, Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) model validation, CORENET X-related submission processes, Smart FM, and digital twin applications.
The partnerships add to broader sector preparation, with CORENET X resources listing training and a BCA Academy course that covers the regulatory approval process via the platform.
