Naver rolls out startup investor platform in Korea

South Korean internet company Naver launched Npay Startup on July 7, an independent website run jointly with the Financial Supervisory Service and the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Startups.

The platform connects startups with brokerages, venture capital firms, and other investors.

Naver said the platform aimed to improve access to investment information by bringing startups and investors onto one service.

The launch is part of broader government efforts to expand South Korea’s startup funding ecosystem, including angel matching funds, crowdfunding programs, and the KONEX market.

After a roughly three-month test run, Naver said it would work with related agencies to verify data consistency and expand participation.
