Naver Cloud’s Line Works enters Taiwan public sector

Hsinchu City in Taiwan has adopted Line Works as its official collaboration tool for a smart city and AI-led administrative transformation, according to South Korea’s Naver Cloud, a cloud computing company.

Naver Cloud said on September 7 that this was its first large-scale Line Works deployment for a Taiwanese administrative agency.

The deployment marks the messaging and collaboration app’s entry into Taiwan’s public sector.

Hsinchu is one of Taiwan’s science and technology hubs and is home to TSMC and the country’s largest semiconductor and information technology industrial complex, Naver Cloud said.

In Taiwan, Line Works had signed up more than 150 companies and institutions and passed 10,000 users about 10 months after its official market entry.
