Naver brings PUBG esports to Chzzk streaming platform

Naver said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Krafton, a South Korean game developer, to bring PUBG: Battlegrounds esports content to its Chzzk streaming platform.

The agreement covers direct broadcasts of PUBG esports tournaments on Chzzk. It also includes league partnerships, and interactive features. One feature, co-watching, lets creators and viewers watch and discuss matches together in real time.

The deal also lets Chzzk creators use Krafton’s intellectual property under formal terms. It also includes online and offline marketing tied to PUBG leagues.
