Nanorobotics firm Theranautilus secures $1.2m seed funding

Theranautilus, a company specializing in nanorobotic healthcare, has raised US$1.2 million in seed funding.

Pi Ventures led the round with contributions from Golden Sparrow Ventures and angel investors including Tracxn’s Abhishek Goyal and Groww’s Lalit Keshre.

Founded in 2020 and based at the Indian Institute of Science, Theranautilus plans to use the funds to develop dental care devices using nanorobotics.

These devices aim to address dental hypersensitivity, which affects billions globally.
