Moomoo Financial Singapore has become the first digital broker in the city-state to receive in-principle approval for a major payment institution license to offer digital payment token services.

When granted a full license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the investment platform will offer digital token services to its users, joining 15 other firms with similar approvals. Moomoo had previously said it is looking to add support for crypto trading and crypto ETFs on its platform.
