Indian prime minister Narendra Modi met Tesla CEO Elon Musk in Washington on Feb. 13.

They discussed topics including space, mobility, technology, and innovation, as stated in a post by Modi on X.

The discussions also covered cooperation in emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and governance.

This meeting occurs as Musk’s satellite internet service, Starlink, is seeking to enter the Indian market.

Currently, Starlink’s application for a license to operate in India remains under review.

Modi’s two-day visit to the United States includes a planned meeting with US President Donald Trump, with focus will be on trade and tariff issues.
