MobiKwik shares hit record low after stake acquisition
MobiKwik’s shares fell 5.6% during intraday trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Feb. 24, reaching a record low of 293.60 rupee (US$3.39).
By 11:38 AM, the stock recovered slightly to 307 rupee (US$3.54), reflecting a 1.4% decrease from the previous close of 311.20 rupee (US$3.59) on Feb. 21.
The drop follows MobiKwik’s announcement on Feb. 21 that it acquired an additional 3.39% stake in Blostem Fintech Private Limited for 1.5 crore rupee (US$172.941).
Earlier, the company’s shares also hit an all-time low of 314 rupee (US$3.62) on Feb. 17.
MobiKwik’s current market capitalization is 2,373.71 crore rupee (US$273.67 million).
