MobiKwik reports Q2 loss despite revenue growth

MobiKwik, an India fintech company, reported a Q2 FY25 net loss of 3.59 crore rupees (around US$432,000), down 45% from the previous quarter.

Total losses, including remeasurement, amounted to 4.08 crore rupees (around US$491,000), compared to a net profit of 5.22 crore rupees (around US$628,000) in the same quarter last year.

Revenue increased 42% year-on-year to 290.65 crore rupees (around US$35.0 million) but declined 15% from the previous quarter, while EBITDA fell 37% year-on-year to 6.80 crore rupees (around US$817,000), with a 2.3% margin.

The company processed payment GMV of 28,280 crore rupees (around US$3.41 billion) and launched initiatives like FD-backed RuPay credit cards.

Total expenses rose 46.53% year-on-year to 286.86 crore (around US$34.5 million).
