AI firm Mistral is close to completing a US$487 million fundraise, valuing it at around US$2 billion, sources told Bloomberg. Andreessen Horowitz is reportedly leading the round with US$216 million, while Nvidia and Salesforce will invest US$130 million in convertible debt.

Paris-based Mistral was founded in early 2023 by former scientists of Alphabet’s DeepMind and Meta.
