Mistral expects over $1.2b revenue in 2026, CEO says

French AI company Mistral expects to generate over €1 billion (US$1.2 billion) in revenue in 2026, according to CEO Arthur Mensch at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The company aims to reach this target despite being behind US rivals like OpenAI and Anthropic in market size.

Mensch indicated that Mistral plans to spend a similar amount on AI infrastructure and chips this year.

The firm raised €1.7 billion (US$1.9 billion) in September, valuing it at €11.7 billion (US$13.7 billion), with Dutch chipmaker ASML as a key investor.
