Mirae Asset taps Solana for HK institutional note issuance
Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited, the Hong Kong subsidiary of South Korea’s Mirae Asset Securities Co., said it completed a tokenized funding note issuance on the Solana blockchain for eligible institutional investors.
The US dollar-denominated, six-month floating-rate notes were issued in Hong Kong under the firm’s US$3 billion Guaranteed Structured Note Programme.
Marketnode, a Singapore-regulated digital market infrastructure operator, acted as the authorized distributor.
Mirae Asset said it managed token issuance, payments, and lifecycle management. The Solana Foundation, a Switzerland-based nonprofit that supports the Solana ecosystem, also supported the transaction.
The notes were offered through a private placement only to eligible professional investors, as defined under Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance. They were neither authorized nor registered with Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission.
