Mirae Asset to lead Indian wealth firm Nexedge’s $25m round

Mumbai-based Nexedge Capital, a wealth management startup for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, is in talks to raise US$25 million in its first institutional funding round.

South Korea-based Mirae Asset Venture Investment is set to lead the round, according to two people familiar with the matter.

Founder Aniruddha Taparia started Nexedge in March 2025 after leaving 360 One WAM, where he was co-founder and joint chief executive.

LinkedIn shows Nexedge manages 230 billion rupees (US$2.41 billion) in assets for 1,200 ultra-high-net-worth families and has 175 employees, including 82 bankers.

Mirae Asset Venture Investment’s India arm manages US$1.5 billion across India, South Korea, and China, and lists Indian investments including KreditBee and Raise. Separately, 360 One says it has about US$74 billion in assets.
