Microsoft plans to invest US$30 billion in the UK to expand AI infrastructure and build the country’s largest supercomputer.

The company will spread the investment from 2025 to 2028, with US$15 billion allocated to capital expenditures for cloud and AI infrastructure.

The supercomputer will feature over 23,000 advanced graphics processing units and will be developed in partnership with British startup Nscale.
