Microsoft to bring 365 G7, Agent 365 to government cloud

Microsoft said it will make Microsoft 365 G7 and Agent 365 available to buy in its Government Community Cloud on October 1.

The products combine productivity, AI, security, identity, compliance, and governance tools, with more capabilities to be added in phases as services complete the required GCC authorization milestones.

The new offering expands on Microsoft 365 G5 and Microsoft Entra Suite.

It adds Copilot, Work IQ, agent-building tools, and agent governance features for government uses such as research, policy analysis, case management, grants, inspections, and constituent services.

Microsoft’s government plans page currently lists G1, G3, and G5 tiers, but not G7.

GCC already appears in the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program marketplace, and Copilot tools for the US government clouds have separate requirements.
