Microsoft has partnered with Merak Capital to enhance Saudi Arabia’s gaming startup ecosystem.

This collaboration provides startups with technology resources, mentoring, and access to international markets.

Microsoft will offer Azure cloud services, game development tools, and industry expertise to support innovation.

As part of the partnership, Microsoft will contribute to the Exel Gaming Accelerator, a program focused on AI, cloud technology, and analytics.

This initiative builds on Merak Capital’s existing US$80 million Gaming Fund, supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of driving gaming sector growth.

Applications for the first Exel Gaming Accelerator cohort are open until Feb. 16. Startups with scalable business models and growth potential are encouraged to apply.
