Meta announced plans to test new subscription options on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, offering users access to exclusive features while keeping core experiences free.

Subscriptions will include tools to boost productivity, creativity, and AI capabilities, with each app offering a distinct set of features.

The company also plans to expand Manus, its US$2 billion AI agent acquisition, integrating it into products and offering standalone subscriptions to businesses.

On Instagram, subscriptions could let users create unlimited audience lists, see followers who don’t follow back, and view Stories anonymously.

These offerings are separate from Meta Verified, and Meta will gather user feedback as they roll out in the coming months.
