Apollo Global Management Inc. is reportedly in discussions to lead a financing package of about US$35 billion for Meta Platforms Inc.

This funding is intended to support the development of data centers in the United States, according to sources familiar with the negotiations.

These sources, who remained anonymous due to the private nature of the talks, stated that Apollo could contribute a significant portion of the financing.

However, the discussions are still in early stages, and it remains uncertain if a deal will be reached.

Neither Apollo nor Meta has commented on the matter.
