Meta said on June 4 it was rolling out creator assistant on Facebook to creators in the US, Canada, and India.

The AI tool answers questions about audience shifts and post performance, and suggests content ideas.

Meta described creator assistant as a conversational feature that lets creators ask questions such as when to post or what viewers are saying in comments.

Meta said the tool used a creator’s content style, performance, community, and goals, as well as Facebook trends such as popular audio and content formats.

Meta has not detailed in public materials how the assistant processes data or whether creators need to provide additional consent.

The company also said it would add Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, French, Thai, and Vietnamese to Reels AI translations on Facebook, expanding a feature first announced in 2024.

The feature currently supports English, Spanish, Hindi, Portuguese, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Kannada.

Meta said more than 500 million Facebook users watched AI-translated videos each week.
