Meta released Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on October 12, in a push to compete with OpenAI and Anthropic and generate subscription revenue from AI products.

The company said Muse Wonder will soon power Muse, its personal AI agent, initially for subscribers. The more powerful Muse Wonder Full is already available to Muse Code subscribers, Meta’s AI coding tool.

External coverage reported frontier-level performance. It also said Muse Wonder is available through an API, while Muse Wonder Full is not yet generally available through an API.

Meta shares rose about 4% in afternoon trading. The launch also comes as Meta faces privacy concerns over its consumer AI tools. A June 2025 article called the Meta AI app a “privacy disaster”.
