Meta to launch Threads ads globally

Meta announced it will begin rolling out ads on its Threads platform globally starting next week.

The platform, launched in July 2023, has surpassed 400 million monthly active users worldwide, with data indicating it now has more daily mobile users than Elon Musk’s X.

The company said that ad deployment will be gradual and may take several months to complete.

Meta previously tested ads on Threads in the US and Japan in January 2024.
