Meta acquires US-based AI wearable startup
Meta has acquired Limitless, a US-based startup that develops AI-enabled wearable devices.
Limitless will stop selling its Pendant to new customers but will continue supporting current users for at least another year.
Existing Pendant users will now get the Unlimited Plan for free.
Non-Pendant features like Rewind will be discontinued, and updates to regional availability are expected.
Customers must accept new privacy terms to keep using the service, and Limitless has added a feature to export or delete their data.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
