Meta confirmed on November 4 that it acquired Conductor, an AI coding startup founded in 2024, as it expands its AI coding tools. Meta did not disclose the deal terms.

Conductor launched its product last summer. The platform lets software engineers run multiple AI agents from OpenAI and Anthropic in parallel workspaces to handle separate parts of a software project.

The startup said its core features will continue working as before until early 2027. Its cloud service will shut down on November 20, after which Conductor will begin deleting user cloud data.
