Meta announced that Manus, a Singapore-headquartered AI agent developer, is joining the company to help unlock opportunities for businesses across its products.

Manus builds autonomous general-purpose agents that can handle tasks such as market research, coding, and data analysis.

Meta said Manus will continue to operate its existing service, and will also integrate its technology into Meta’s products, including Meta AI.

Manus launched its first general AI agent earlier in 2025.

Manus’ team will join Meta and work on deploying general-purpose agents across consumer and business products.

While the financial terms were not made public, Reuters cited a source as saying the deal values Manus at US$2 billion to US$3 billion.
