Meitu sells entire crypto portfolio for almost $80m
Hong Kong-listed beauty app Meitu has sold its entire cryptocurrency portfolio, earning nearly US$80 million.
The firm, known for its photo-editing apps, disclosed in a filing that it sold 940 bitcoins and 31,000 ethers.
The total gain from these transactions amounted to US$79.63 million.
Meitu had initially purchased around US$100 million in crypto assets in March and April 2021.
