Maybank announced that Giorgio Migliarina will assume the role of group chief technology and digital officer, effective 1 November 2024.

He succeeds Mohd Suhail Amar Suresh Abdullah, who will move to the position of senior advisor to the president & group CEO’s office on the same day.

Migliarina, in his new role, will manage the bank’s technology and digital functions.

His duties include maintaining system resilience, devising long-term technology strategies, and improving Maybank’s digital services with a focus on customer needs.

He has more than 28 years of experience in the telecommunications and high technology sectors.
