Malaysian VC firm Vynn backs retail tech startup Etaily

Vynn Capital, a Malaysia-based venture capital firm, has invested in Etaily, a commerce and retail infrastructure company headquartered in the Philippines, as it expands in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.

Etaily operates a digital-native retail platform in Southeast Asia to supports omnichannel ecommerce.

It services span marketplace operations, direct-to-consumer sales, social commerce, livestreaming, marketing, fulfilment, and analytics.

The deal follows a late-2025 financing round led by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation through its SMBC Asia Rising Fund.

That round brought Etaily’s total funding to more than US$24 million.

The capital is earmarked to build a multi-country cluster across Malaysia, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian markets to help brands expand in the region.

Etaily said Malaysia has become part of its Southeast Asian growth strategy. The company also said it operates in the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia.
