Lotus Cars has appointed Peiji Qin as the new president of its operations in China, the company announced on March 12. Qin will report directly to its CEO Feng Qingfeng.

Mao Jingbo, the former president for China, has been reassigned to the position of global chief sales officer. Mao will oversee global production, sales coordination, and marketing resource integration.

Qin brings over 15 years of experience in the Geely ecosystem, having held management roles at Volvo, Geely, and Polestar. His appointment is intended to enhance Lotus’ presence in the Chinese market.

The company indicated that these leadership changes aim to support its global brand development and expansion efforts.
