Archestra, a London-based startup, has raised US$3.3 million in pre-seed funding to develop an open-source platform for connecting generative AI tools to company data and internal systems.

The round was led by Concept Ventures, with participation from Zero Prime Ventures, Celero Ventures, RTP Global, Aloniq, and several angel investors.

Archestra, founded by Matvey Kukuy and Ildar Iskhakov, is building software designed to help enterprises integrate large language models (LLMs) with sensitive data while managing security and compliance risks.

The platform operates on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a framework introduced by Anthropic in late 2024 that lets LLMs interact with enterprise systems more contextually.

The company says its tool adds permission controls and data management features to MCP, aiming to address concerns about AI agents accessing or exposing confidential information.
