Line Next, the Web3 division of the messaging platform Line, has launched its first set of decentralized applications (DApps).

The Mini Dapps, accessible through the Line app, include games, social media services, and Web3 content powered by Kaia, a Layer 1 blockchain developed with Kakao.

To support Mini Dapps, Line Next introduced a Dapp Portal for users to explore applications and trade assets like NFTs.

Initial offerings include “Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-,” a game based on the Japanese manga, and “Superz,” a healthcare and wellness Dapp.

Line Next plans to roll out over 1,000 projects by the end of 2025.

With a user base of 200 million, Line aims to expand Web3 adoption across its key markets in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.
