LG Uplus revenue hits $11.6b on mobile, AI growth

LG Uplus reported a 5.7% rise in revenue for 2025, reaching 15.5 trillion won (US$11.6 billion), driven by growth in mobile subscribers and data center services.

Service revenue, excluding handset sales, rose 3.5% to 12.3 trillion won (US$8.4 billion), the highest in four years.

Operating profit increased 3.4% to 892.1 billion won (US$609.2 million), while net income jumped 61.9% to 509.2 billion won (US$347.7 million), mainly due to the absence of asset impairment losses.

The mobile segment generated 6.67 trillion won (US$4.5 billion), supported by a 7.7% rise in total subscribers to over 30.7 million.

Revenue from enterprise infrastructure, including AI data centers, grew 6% to 1.81 trillion won (US$1.2 billion), with AI data center business expanding 18.4%.

LG Uplus completed a data center in Gasan last year and is building a new facility in Paju, with demand already secured.

The company also plans to enhance its AI product offerings for enterprise clients.
