LG CNS, LG Corp.’s technology services division, has launched its IPO order-taking process in Seoul, aiming to raise up to 1.2 trillion won (around US$816 million) by issuing 19.4 million shares priced between 53,700 won (around US$36) and 61,900 won (around US$42) each.
The offering, coordinated by Morgan Stanley, BofA Securities, and KB Securities, will conclude on January 15, with pricing on January 17 and a planned listing on February 4.
This IPO could be South Korea’s largest since LG Energy Solution’s US$10 billion share sale in 2022.
It signals a recovery in the country’s IPO market, which raised US$1.5 billion in 2024, up from 2023 but far below 2021’s record.
Proceeds will fund facility upgrades, data center modernization, tech acquisitions, and debt reduction, supporting LG CNS’s growth strategy amid better investor sentiment.
