LG, Qualcomm partner to debut AI car computing tech

LG Electronics and Qualcomm will debut a new AI-powered computing solution for cars at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January 2026.

The companies jointly developed the AI Cabin Platform, which is designed for use in digital cockpits of advanced vehicles.

LG Electronics, based in South Korea, said the platform integrates generative AI tools such as vision and image generation models into car infotainment systems.

The announcement signals a move to bring more AI features to automotive technology.
