LG AI Research, the AI lab under South Korea’s LG Group, has launched a new financial AI agent in partnership with the London Stock Exchange Group.

The tool, named EXAONE Business Intelligence (EXAONE-BI), was introduced at a ceremony in London on September 19.

It is designed to generate financial reports and market forecasts by processing large volumes of data without human involvement.

EXAONE-BI uses four AI agents — branded as journalist, economist, analyst, and decision maker — to produce its analysis.

LG AI Research said the development responds to rising demand for advanced financial analytics as markets become more volatile.

The center also said that existing financial AI tools have been limited in accuracy or mainly provided summaries.

No launch date for commercial availability was announced.
