LG Electronics unveiled modular cooling infrastructure for AI data centers at Data Center World Asia 2026 in Singapore on September 29.

The South Korean electronics company said the factory-built container units connect on-site, reducing construction work and supporting phased capacity expansion.

The system, called Hydronic Modular, pre-assembles pumps, valves, emergency buffer tanks, and piping in ISO-standard containers.

LG also displayed an air-cooled, oil-free inverter turbo chiller, a Fan Wall Unit, and liquid-cooling coolant distribution units in 1-megawatt and 2.6-megawatt classes.

LG said Nvidia has certified its coolant distribution units in 600-kilowatt to 1-megawatt classes and in the 2.6-megawatt class.

Other exhibitors from LG Group included LG Energy Solution, which showed batteries for backup units, energy storage systems, and uninterruptible power supplies.

LG CNS, an information technology services affiliate, displayed a prefabricated modular data center system.

The launch comes about a month after Singapore set a standard for liquid cooling in data centers in tropical climates to improve energy efficiency and performance.
