Lenskart to launch smartglasses with UPI payment feature
Lenskart plans to launch smartglasses with built-in UPI (unified payment interface) capabilities in the coming months.
The India-based eyewear retailer unveiled its B Camera smartglasses, which feature AI-powered cameras and digital payment integration, at the Global Fintech Festival 2025.
The device, developed in collaboration with NPCI’s UPI Circle, will allow users to link their bank accounts and make payments using voice commands.
Lenskart said the glasses will enable authentication and transactions without needing a phone or manual PIN entry.
