Lenskart, Indian firm Ajna Lens partner on AI-powered XR glasses

Lenskart, the Gurugram-based eyewear company, has made a strategic investment in Ajna Lens, a startup based in Mumbai that focuses on AI-powered extended reality (XR) glasses.

This partnership aims to enhance the development of AI-powered smart glasses.

The financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Ajna Lens, established in 2014 and located in Thane, specializes in immersive technologies and utilizes spatial computing and AI vision.

Lenskart operates in 14 countries and plans to merge its eyewear design expertise with Ajna Lens’ technology to improve its smart glasses offerings.

The company previously entered this market with the launch of its audio-enabled glasses, Phonic, in December 2024.
