Lenskart hits $5b value after Fidelity, Temasek boost
Indian multinational eyewear company Lenskart reportedly achieved an annual revenue run rate of US$1 billion.
Earlier in June, Fidelity and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, Temasek, invested US$200 million in Lenskart. This investment resulted in a valuation of US$5 billion through a secondary transaction.
Fidelity, along with other crossover funds, routinely updates valuations based on market conditions and the performance of similar businesses.
