Lenovo closes deal for Israeli data storage firm Infinidat

Lenovo has completed its acquisition of Israeli data storage firm Infinidat, more than a year after announcing the deal.

It will run the company under its Infrastructure Solutions Group.

Financial terms were not disclosed, though the deal is estimated at more than US$500 million.

Infinidat is known for building storage systems for large enterprises across sectors such as finance, healthcare, telecommunications, and the public sector.

Founded in 2011, Infinidat has about 500 employees, including around 300 in Israel.

Lenovo said in January 2025 that it planned to open a local development center and expand its presence there.
