Leap raises $65m series E to expand AI, global reach
Leap, an edtech startup based in San Francisco and Bengaluru, has secured US$65 million in its series E funding round, led by Apis Partners’ funds.
Existing investors such as Owl Ventures, Jungle Ventures, and Peak XV Partners also participated.
This funding round, combining primary and secondary investments, bringing Leap’s total equity raised to US$210 million since its founding in 2019. The current valuation of the company remains undisclosed.
Leap operates through LeapScholar, LeapFinance, Yocket, and Geebee, offering services like counseling, visa assistance, and financial products for students studying abroad.
The company is expanding in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, partnering with over 1,000 international universities.
Co-founder Vaibhav Singh indicated that the new funds will enhance product offerings and support AI-driven initiatives in test preparation and student assessments.
Previously, Leap raised US$75 million in its series D in 2022 and $US55 million in its series C in 2021.
