Ecommerce firm Lazada laid off staff from its Singapore office on January 3, which affected various departments including its commercial and marketing units.

The number of affected employees remains unknown, but the process could continue until January 5. This follows several leadership changes at Lazada and its parent company Alibaba Group since mid-2022.
