Kyndryl, a US-based IT infrastructure services provider, said on September 10 that Krungsri, formally known as Bank of Ayudhya PCL, a Thai bank, renewed its partnership with the company in a five-year agreement.

Under the agreement, Kyndryl will support Krungsri’s core banking transformation with managed services, automation, AI-powered operations, mainframe-as-a-service, and application modernization.

The work will cover Krungsri’s data center IT environment, including infrastructure that supports more than 4,800 ATMs.

Kyndryl said AI would be used under human oversight for infrastructure monitoring, batch processing, and workflow orchestration.

Kyndryl said the renewed agreement expands its earlier work for Krungsri in network modernization, cloud adoption, workplace transformation, and IT service improvements.

It also builds on previously announced efforts to modernize workplaces and deliver cloud solutions.
