Krafton, Naver launch $645m India fund

South Korea’s Krafton, a game publisher, Naver, an internet company, and Mirae Asset Venture Investments, a unit of Mirae Asset Group, have launched a 60 billion rupees (US$645 million) India-focused Unicorn Growth Fund.

This agreement was announced during the South Korean president’s official visit to India.

Mirae will manage the fund for growth-stage startups.

The companies first disclosed plans for the fund in December 2025.

The fund will target sectors including consumer internet, digital marketplaces, consumer brands, AI, software, and deep tech such as semiconductors, space, robotics, advanced materials, and frontier science.
