KPMG launches AI governance hub in Singapore

KPMG launched its Trusted Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence in Singapore on May 25.

The company also introduced an AI assessment service focused on governance, security, regulatory compliance, and sector-specific readiness across markets.

The launch was opened by Minister of State Jasmin Lau, Singapore Economic Development Board managing director Jermaine Loy, and KPMG in Singapore managing partner Lee Sze Yeng.

KPMG said the assessment is meant to help companies evaluate whether their AI systems  meet different regulatory requirements across markets.

The company cited growing difference in AI governance standards between regions. The Singapore launch also builds on KPMG’s global Trusted AI framework.
