South Korea’s OneStore said on October 19 that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Melbourne-based fintech firm Airwallex to build payments infrastructure for its OneStore Global app marketplace and OneShop digital goods platform.

The companies plan to support cards and card-based payments in more than 200 countries. They said this should reduce payment integration and operational work for developers in South Korea and abroad.

OneStore has launched a global app market in 122 countries.

Airwallex said in its payment docs that it supports cards, bank transfers, and e-wallets.

The announcement said Airwallex was founded in Melbourne in 2015 and serves more than 670,000 businesses worldwide.

The companies plan to expand their cooperation gradually.
