E-commerce platforms Coupang and Woowa Brothers have come under pressure from the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and the Federation of Korean Trade Unions, which are pushing for higher wages and improved working conditions for delivery workers.

The companies claim the unions are interfering with their operations and are trying to expand their presence in the e-commerce sector, as declining memberships have affected their finances.
