Korean game firm buys stake in Singapore’s Indygo for $103.8m
NCSOFT has acquired a 67% stake in Singapore-based mobile game publisher Indygo Group for 153.4 billion won (US$103.8 million).
Indygo Group is the parent company of Vietnam-based developer Lihuhu, which makes casual and puzzle games.
NCSOFT, a major South Korean game company known for MMORPGs like Lineage and Guild Wars, said the deal supports its push into the global casual game market.
The company also plans to acquire Korean mobile casual game studio Springcomes.
NCSOFT is in talks with European studios about further acquisitions.
