KKR-Singtel consortium completes $10.8b STT GDC deal
Singapore-based data center operator STT GDC said a KKR-led consortium, comprising funds managed by KKR and Singtel, has completed its acquisition of the company in a deal valued at S$13.8 billion (US$10.8 billion).
It also updated its global brand while keeping the STT GDC name.
The company said its leadership team, strategy, and customer commitments remain unchanged.
KKR previously led a S$1.75 billion (US$1.38 billion) investment in 2024 alongside Singtel before the consortium moved to full ownership.
STT GDC said its operational capacity rose 25% to 780MW since the end of 2025, while contracted capacity increased 50% and annualized earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization grew 30%.
It added that it has secured nearly 2GW of powered land for projects under construction and in its development pipeline, 34 data centers across ten cities in India, and more than 360MW in its Jakarta pipeline.
The company also said Singapore selected it to develop 50MW of new sustainable AI-ready data center capacity.
