Battery chemistry and charging, confirmed and still developing

• Kia has not named the EV2 battery chemistry. SamMobile says Samsung SDI will ship high-nickel prismatic cells (rectangular battery cells designed for dense packaging in EV packs) for the EV2 1. Hyundai Motor partners with Kia on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cathode materials alongside Hyundai Steel and EcoPro BM 2. There is no confirmation that the EV2 uses LFP 2.
